FIBARO smoke detector

The FIBARO smoke detector is the world’s smallest wireless smoke detector that blends harmoniously into its surroundings. Fire alarms are signalled by an audible alarm, flashing visual indicator and Z-Wave alarm and control commands. An optical sensor detects smoke at an early stage of a fire, often before flames appear and temperatures rise significantly. In addition, the unit has a built-in temperature sensor that is programmable. Other Z-Wave devices, such as the smart wall plug, can be used to automatically switch off the fire starter, or it can be turned off from outside the home using a mobile device. This prevents fires from starting from smoke and expensive consequences.
